In my opinion, there is no better vampire film than From Dusk till Dawn. Its brutal, amusing and surprising, every thing you could ask for in a vampire movie. I have always wondered why Seth left Kate standing on the side of the road, in mexico, when her family had just been slaughtered, at the end of the film? "After the dawn" attempts to do away with this ending and it does work but, it would have been slightly more pleasant to read if Seth hadn't also been made into a sexual predator. Over all how ever, I did enjoy reading it and it worked quite well with the flow of story.
