I have never personally read Twilight, hence I thought I would treat myself to a small, 400ish word fanfic on the epidemic that has swept the world in the last few years. Low and behold, I was disappointed. "Brighter Moon" is a fanfic about a crossbred Vampire/Werewolf that blessed itself upon the world by eating its way out of its mothers womb. This, of course, ultimately resulted in the demise of this poor women/wolf. As of 1918, when this beast reached the age of 18 it stopped growing and aging. It now resides as an abnormally beautiful human looking girl who, despited its heritage calls itself a vegetarian. By this it means it only drinks animal blood rather than human, not that it prefers broccoli over steak. This animals father has enlightened it that there is a family of such Vampire/Werewolf bread that also consider themselves "vegetarian". The story ends with the creature having long been curious of this family and was hence led to do "what I did". I was left bewildered and confused with the intention to investigate no further into twilight. However, if you enjoy Twilight, this was well written and coherent, I'm sure it would be fun to read.
